Murcia, Spain

When the weather was cold, windy and mostly grey, we started to dream and plan a warm and sunny holidays couple months ahead. Booked flights, a villa with a pool and chose the special time – our 10th Wedding Anniversary. I know, I know most couples celebrate  wedding anniversaries on their own in romantic destinations, but we chose to celebrate with children, get out of everyday life and go a little further than Britain. The sun was warming us, the water was cooler than usual in Spain and the changes of place got us out of the routine. As Lauris said, ”That’s  the life for me/us!”

Nokļuvām arī pensionāru streika epicentrā. Spāņu pensionāri neklusē, iet pa galveno ielu, nobļauj malā satiksmi un parāda savu pilsonisko viedokli.

We also got into the epicenter of the pensioners’ strike. Spanish pensioners do not hold in. They were out on the main street, literately shouted off the traffic and showed their position about pension system.

Un kur nu bez peldēšanās piemājas baseinā!

And of course, swimming fun back at the villa!
